Fleming was an overgrown schoolboy. Bond is an adolescent wet-dream. Mechanical toys and women with even less personality. Chauvinist in every sense of the word. 1950's escapism. Why are you all talking about the Bond films as if they were art? None of the characters could act their way out of a paper bag (except possibly the original car) and how anyone could think the young Sean Connery handsome with all that Brylcreem. Ugh!
