A little short, I know. I feel like it's lacking a little something.

It's missing the essence/character of the market, and that makes it quite dry. You've tried to impress upon the reader that this is a sizeable market, but aren't they all?
A good, solid piece, but it needs a stretch.

Well, I don't really remember the market for having any character, really. It was as generic as all those other German markets you get popping up all over the country.
The only thing I can think of adding is more about the goods that they sell; you've covered food well, but what about the places that sell those cute slippers and mittens, or the germal incense men who appear to be smoking, and things like that?
Good idea for an Entry though.

hmm, me thinks it's not really Brummie-centric enough, you could replace the word Birmingham with the word Nottingham, or Leeds, or Sheffield, or Chipping Norton, and get the same entry about Anglicised German Markets that always pop up around Xmas time and run by either market holders from Norfolk or Polish mitten sellers...
What marks the Birmingham one aside from all these other generic Bratwurst-fests???

Or in the opposite vein, perhaps a piece about generic German markets, and which UK towns and cities hold them?

Nice Entry Elentari
Couple of minor things -
Under the header 'What's on offer' you have "Christmas decorations and many others." that doesn't quite make sense, not to me anyway.
In the same section "A host of food can be found, both snacks and meals" might be an idea to put 'including' at the end of that sentence.
I don't know how much you've changed the Entry since the above posts, but I'd say the food/drink info is about right.
Good Luck

What, no roasted sweet chestnuts, no musical entertainment?
In the article you link to, it says there were over 180 stalls, and you say there were 94.
Your last sentence:
Funnily enough, there is no equivalent Birmingham market in Frankfurt – maybe the natives of the city just don’t appreciate a good curry.
gives the impression that Birmingham offered to have a market in Frankfurt and Frankfurt refused. Is that the case? If not, you may want to take it out, as it would be insulting.

There were roasted chestnuts actually, I forgot that. No music though.
I don't trust that article. I don't think there were 180 stalls and I've seen the 94 number quoted elsewhere. I'll do more digging.
I'm not aware whether a Birmingham market was suggested for Frankfurt and I'm sure you know I didn't mean anything insulting. I just wanted a bit of a light-hearted ending. What do other people think?

I've reworded the last bit - is that better or worse?

It appears that the reason for the discrepancy in numbers of stalls is that part of the market is actually seperate: there's the German bit and there's the 'Christmas Craft Fair' which is the bit all the locals are in. 180 is the total number of stalls, 94 is the German bit.
I've reworked a few sections and changed the title to reflect that.
