delays and updates

hi.
I seem to be having the problem that the project needs to be bigger than initially expected. this means that it is taking longer than expected.
will this cause any problems?
the other question, some of the entries that I need to link to already have edited entries, but these are woefully lacking, or just not good enough for the project.
is there any way that I can get hold of them so I can do an update on these (usually) elderly entries?

Hi xyroth,
Not a problem at all. Quite the reverse, in fact - the bigger the project, the better. Take your time. 
To address your other question, you can, of course, link to the other Edited Entries from your project, but you can't make them a *part* of your project. Unfortunately, it's always going to be the case that Entries are never long or detailed enough, but if you think you can write a better and more detailed Entry as part of your project, then you can certainly do that.
When we have an 'Update System' up and working some time in the future, these points will be officially addressed, and hopefully there shouldn't be a problem.
