The American Beatles Albums

Question 5:
Sorry, in the excitment of turning 30 I forgot to double check the Question 5 answer.
Question 1:
Beatles Story Bullet Points - They don't need to be in itallics - they are the titles of interviews so can be ordinary text.
Question 2:
The other photos, not thre.
Question 3:
I'm happy for any and all links to other articles to be included. Are you allowed to include a link to C55689 or just to articles themselves? Oh, and how about: A61816188?
Question 4:
It should have been '1' not 'One' as the album is called simply '1'. That was my mistake.
Question 5 (not the previous one)
It was a problem both sides of the Atlantic, so perhaps simplify that sentance to start with "Magical Mystery Tour posed EMI with a problem on how to market a soundtrack album from a film which only contained six songs. In the UK the Beatles..." as I then go on to write "In the UK" and later "In America" anyway, saying "In the UK" to start off with seems superfluous.
Question 6:
Sgt. Peppers it is - it's good to be consistent.
I will get back to you on the first Question 5 tomorrow, I promise!

I can't remember the question and I've been through the entire thread!! Which posting are you referring to?
Sgt Pepper's...
"In the UK" to start off with seems superfluousgone
I don't think we can link to C55689
Everything else is done, though I don't know from C55689 which articles we've missed linking to. I've changed all instances of the album "One" to "1" and linked it to your pending article
I think we're all done barring that mystery "number 5" question, so I'll slap this into PR so the reviewers can get going

The question in question is:
A3418265
Here is the third great Beatles album for Capitol. And needless to say its wonderful in the very special and exclusively marvelous Beatles way! Here are the latest, greatest
new Beatles hits the boys have come up with since their first two phenomenal Capitol albums... and so forth.
is the punctuation error (needless to say its wonderful) theirs and do you want me to leave it that way? (I'd have to post [sic])
Would you like the answer here, or in the Peer Review thread?

Here, please it would only confuse the reviewers
Yes, the project will be reviewed in PR - sorry you didn't realise that. I sub it, slap it in PR, the reviewers do their job, I tweak any alterations you tell me, you answer questions if asked, not necessarily changing the entries. Then when it's deemed ready I inform the Eds, they remove the Project Page from PR and make the project pages "pending" as they've already been subbed. It can then hit the FP on any day they choose.
I meant to tell you there's a picture BLOB of Paul & John on the songwriting partnership entry. Do you want to slap that on the project page? Or I could slap it on the alphabet A-M page... Just a thought

I've slapped the BLOB on A3418265 as that's the first mention of the Lennon & McCartney songwriting partnership. Let me know if you think that's OK? The Eds will probably add a BBC Library pic to go on the main page when it goes live. I've also credited the artist Smij (Jimster)
Typo corrected
I'll sift through the links as I've been adding them to the main body of the text anyway (and you can never have too many h2g2 links, I don't think)

Yep, I'm happy for he blob to go there - if I get a picture I'm always happy.
I agree - the more links the better!

all links added to REFERENCES (except the ones which were already there)
I'm now adding the album links individually to the A-Z pages

Is "Let it be ...Naked" the same as "Let it be"
and
Get Back - The Lost Album the same as "Get Back"?
The American Beatles Albums
Bluebottle Posted Jan 22, 2010
"Let It Be ...Naked" is a different album to "Let It Be", although there is a large degree in overlap between which songs are on both albums, the songs themselves sound very different.
"Get Back" is a song which was going to be released on an album of the same name, but the album was never released (until eventually beocming "Let It Be" and even later "Let It Be ...Naked") - but for all intents and purposes (especially those involving links) "Get Back - The Lost Album" can be considered the same as "Get Back"

OK I just wondered whether you wanted them linking to individually (as I have done the others) on the A-Z.
Saves me getting up to mischief while I've nothing to do
