All mentions of Britain change to "the UK" throughout the project (except where you mention "British fans" as I think that's the correct term)smiley - biro - let me know if you want that changed to "UK fans"

in A3418265 (and others) do you want the column contents centring (as the titles are) or shall I leave them aligned left?

Here is the third great Beatles album for Capitol. And needless to say its wonderful in the very special and exclusively marvelous Beatles way! Here are the latest, greatest
new Beatles hits the boys have come up with since their first two phenomenal Capitol albums... and so forth.

is the punctuation error (needless to say its wonderful) theirs and do you want me to leave it that way? (I'd have to post [sic])

Would you look at the BLOB on A5950929 and tell me if you'd like that to be applied to one of your articles and if so, which one? smiley - ta

A3418265:

<< It was, of course, 'I Want To Hold Your Hand' sung in German, recorded in an attempt to break the West German market >>

shall I change that to just "German market"?

Question 1
Is it Vee-Jay or Vee Jay? you have both... - Vee Jay

Question 2:
<>
but in the table you have ...65, 68, 77

The table's correct (it's very confusing when there were 3 charts all with different songs in different positions)

Question 3:
All mentions of Britain change to "the UK" throughout
Yep, UK is fine. British Fans sounds natural, better than UK fans.

Question 4:
do you want the column contents centring
I prefer aligned left, but don't really mind if you wanted to centre them.

Question 5:
I'll double check the album, but fairly sure it's theirs, but I do make mistakes now and then.

Question 6:
German or West German?
They only released it in West Germany and hadn't intended it to be released in East Germany, so West German is correct, but you're right that "German Market" sounds better. I'd still tend to go with West German.

Glad to see you hard at work!smiley - applause

OK everything's done (up to the end of that batch of questions) except for:
Question 5:
I'll double check the album, but fairly sure it's theirs, but I do make mistakes now and then.

I was hoping to finish A3418265 today but I'm pressed for PC-time now. I want to ask though:

The Beatles' Story
It also contained extracts from the following Beatles songs; (I will put those into single quotes) but the:
The version of 'Twist And Shout' on the record was recorded live, and not in a studio.

Record 1:
On Stage With The Beatles etc etc are all those bullet-points (already in italics) supposed to be in italics? If they're just talking, and not programmes, or titles, then they should be just ordinary text.
Same with:
Record 2:
A Hard Day's Night - Their First Movie
Paul McCartney
Sneaky Haircuts And More About Paul
The Beatles Look At Life
'Victims' Of Beatlemania
Beatle Medley
Ringo Starr
Liverpool And All The World

all just people talking/being interviewed?

<<The album cover showed them sitting down holding umbrellas in the main photograph, with thre other photos beneath showing them in a vareity of poses holding various random objects from witches' broomsticks, washing baskets and towels.>>

**with thre other photos** should that be "three other photos" or "the other photos"?

Would you have a look at A251326 the "A Hard Day's Night" single was referenced for "One". Just checking that is the same album you just steered through PR - recommended version A61816188 you've entitled "1". I can link to that as that's the version which will be edited; but before I change all the instances of "One" in the alphabetic Beatles entries, can you confirm that's the right thing to do, please? I've done it on just "A Hard Day's Night" - "1" just to show you.

In the UK, Magical Mystery Tour posed EMI with a problem on how to market a soundtrack album from a film which only contained six songs. In the UK the Beatles, ever experimenting with different sounds and formats, released it as the world's first double-EP, containing only the six songs from the film.
However, in America where the EP format had not taken root, a full album with 11 tracks was released instead. This not only contained the six songs from the film that the UK album did, as the album's A-side, but also a further five songs, all dating from 1967.

should that be "In the *US*, Magical Mystery Tour posed EMI with a problem on how to market a soundtrack album from a film which only contained six songs. In the UK the Beatles..."
