h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I need to know how to go about getting a bit of an extension on my project on Picasso. I have had surgery and have been out of sorts for the last two weeks and right now I'm still a bit out of it. Think I could get a little more time added? Also, I still have no subed to work with me... can we fix that? HELP?!

Of course you can have an extension - no problem at all. Hope your surgery wasn't too scary or painful...

I'll put a notice on the Subs' mailing list - someone is sure to be interested in subbing such a fascinating topic. And if they aren't, I'll do it myself!

Unfortunately it was a rather major surgery and recovery is going a lot slower than I had originally been told (but doesn't it always seem to work out that way?) But I've got time to research books and letters whilst I'm in bed and once in a while now I think I can actually make it to the computer to type some in. Unfortunately at this state, I can't sit in this chair for too long.

I didn't want to give up on my project just yet. I am still hopeful that someone will like to join me on my quest of informing the h2g2 world about Picasso and his awesome creativity. I hope that someone responds soon.

Still no help and no sub-Ed. I'm getting rather discouraged. Although I know with my schedule and the world events and such, it's been rather hectic and assuredly others are feeling the strain, just as I am. Have you heard anything from your posting on the Subs' mailing list?

I am contemplating abandoning the project for the time being and just completing the bio on Picasso (it's 3/4 complete) and have the entry on Guernica up for PR and be done with it. Guess I'm a bit more than just GETTING discouraged, eh? Any suggestions? I don't want to keep asking for more time if I can't get any help on the project. I wouldn't want it just to sit here. Up for any advice or suggestions, and thanks for everything already.

If it's help you want writing the project, I'm afraid I can't really help you - part of your project management involves finding anyone who's interested in writing about Picasso. If no one's interested in writing, then there's not much anyone can do.

As far as subbing is concerned, the project won't be subbed until it's finished in your view. You can, of course, have as long as you like to finish, but subbing can't start until then. As I've said, I'd be more than happy to sub it myself if no one responds.
