Project: King Arthur in Literature
Mr Prophet (General Purpose Genre Guru) Posted May 2, 2001
I did _say_ I'd probably have spelt one of them wrong.
I have notes on the subject, but they're all at home and I'm at work. Also, ninety-nine percent of Grail Law is largely peripheral to Arthur, since it's almost never Arthur who goes on the quest.
In fact, aside from Galahad it isn't even one of Arthur's knights. If memory serves, Parzifal is only vaguely attached to the Round Table court at that stage (certainly in Wolfram; I'm not sure about Chretien), while Gawan is actually the Queen's knight.
All of which is largely peripheral o the matter at hand, but it's background.
The Prophet.

Just saw an ad on TV regarding a new film 'A Knight's Tale'
Could this be based on the Richard Monaco story, 'Parsival, A Knight's Tale'?
