Towels make fine weapons; a fact which is often overlooked.

Make towel wet and use as club.

Fold brick into towel and use as club.

Use towel as sling to fire small pebbles at people.

Fold into a rope and use as noose.

Fantastic. I recently compiled a similarly themed list of 69 sexual perversions. I would love to see this in the edited guide.

I did think of making it 142 uses for a towel - but at the time I was having enough problem with 42!!!

You all seem to have some new good ideas however - so in the very near future I may well extend it!

Maybe a small explaination under each use would make it more entertaining...

Just a thought..

I would use a towel particularly a red towel to make me a superman!!! Go figure!

Many more uses:
* A towel as a big, fat bib for a big, fat baby!
* A towel just to treat it as a table cloth
* Head cloth
* Useful as a tea towel
* Sunbathing towel
* Towel as a toilet paper if you run out!
* Just a simple decoration on a door handle
* Useful material to make silly shorts
* White towels with two holes make useful ghosts
* A towel is useful to hide things
* Useful as a dress
* Useful as a blanket
* A towel is just a material with unlimitless applications - don't just lose it, it may be useful, how about 46 diff uses? eh?

I mean 42 different uses. lol. not 46. whoopie. Hopefully, I will not get kicked out by now. lol.

Numbers 28 and 33 appear to be the same usage !

This entry is humorous and appears on the one hand to be relevant. However, Edited Guide entries shouldn't be too Hitchhikerey just for the sake of it; they need to be fact-based, useful and informative and this entry errs away from our basic Edited Guide criteria. It's more of a creative piece of writing, and actually a very good one at that. It's just not Edited Guide entry material.
