We will have our own car which we will need to get to Glasgow first, so thanks but we will probably just get the train from there.

I might not stay over in Edinburgh after all. I might just leave the car in Glasgow, get the train over and return to Glasgow on Saturday night and crash at a friend's place. Last train should leave at 11:30, so I'll get plenty drinking time in before that.
