Wot Money ?

To be of any real value money has to circulate.
You may as well do this for yourself because if you don't then somene else will do it for you and there is no telling what the outcome will be. There is no doubt money will always be of 'interest' to someone. Be it a reward, a benefit, a bonus, an inheritance or income from invested capital, it is of no value unless it is be distributed. Money only becomes a problem when you consider that you are not getting your fair share. Unfortunately the measurement of wealth is money.
The distribution of wealth is what it is all about. Money in itself is worthless but spent wisely it can do a lot for the 'environment'

That's a good point, Brit. You could argue that money isn't worth anything if it is left lying, untouched in some account. It's only when you spend it does it have any worth. Not a very financially astute maxim to live by, we admit!

You say not a very financially astute maxim to live by. On the contrary it is the only way that money should be thought of. There is something fundamentally wrong when money is made by handling money, unless the money that is made is used to good purpose. When handling money simply makes more money it breeds greedy bankers who take out more than their fair share.
Today when money only exists on balance sheets. £ millions are handled with ease in seconds yet Joe public makes an internet cash transfer that instantly leaves his account but takes several working days to clear. The faster the cash handlers can seal the deal the more money they hold in the pending pot. Play around with cash overnight and at weekends, yummy yummy, a cash handler's dream.
