Honiton lace

The only references I've ever seen to Honiton have all been to Honiton lace, which was a very fine type of lace made with bobbins.

Thanks for the link But thought I'd ask...
Any chance of you writing a paragraph or two on Honiton, or the lace industry there? It doesn't need to be anything in-depth or lengthy; either two or three short paragraphs on the town or one on the lace industry would really help I'm really looking for short contributions; see the Plymouth section by Ferrettbadger at A6021505 to see how easy yet rewarding it would be
