Although I am not going, could I suggest Shakespeare's on Lothian road, just beside the Usher Hall. Tis easy to find, is just down the road from the end of Morrison Street and is just generally a good place for an after work pint or three.

Given that it is just now 42 minutes since Zantics post, I'll make a note of that.
Protests might be heard, given that they reach the involved parties on time 
If I don't hear anything else, I'll be there sometimes 5-ish. Tall, some would say redhaired, glasses - no h2g2 T-shirt, I'm afraid...
