Arthur was rather miffed at the Earth being destroyed for the second time, mostly as he was still on it at the time.

(OOG stands for Out of Game) seems to me to be the only logical way for the characters to have gotten out of their situation at the end of Mostly Harmless, don't you think? Who else might have a reason or motive for saving them? Nerd42

Arthur knew he should probably be grateful to Zaphod for not being dead, but he also thought that it was too much to expect of one man to have had his entire planet blown up, not once, but *twice*, so in the interest of sanity he decided it was all Zaphod's fault and got up to tell him so(possibly violently).

Sorry about that
Arthur moved towards Zaphod, fully intent on taking his frustration out on him, or at least getting himself knocked out trying, when Ford intervened.

"Zaphod", Arthur spluttered, "Zaphod, he ... he ..." - Arthur tried to think of something that he could blame Zaphod for, but he wasn't totally sure it was Zaphod's fault the Earth had been demolished and it seemed rather childish to blame him for *everything* so he gave up.
