One of the changes that I like about the new button for Scouts is the email a writer gets when an entry is accepted for inclusion into the Edited Guide.
Sure, it's just a form email, but I think it's a nice touch.

The email is a very good thing! Some writers have turned their backs at h2g2 after their entry was hanging around on PR for too long, and the email is like an intermediate awakening kiss, 'intermediate' because there will be another when the entry hits the front page.

I agree. It's a nice reminder to writers that their contribution is appreciated and we'd like to see them back again.
