Hi again Vittorio - I've spoken with Gnomon* about the apostrophes and he says don't worry about them - leave them for a sub-editor

Thanks Lanzababy. Google's coordinates can of course go into a footnote. I have no idea how to do that. I've done the editing. You're booked for lunch whenever you comr to Rome's Castelli towns. http://www.h2g2.com/h2g2/skins/brunel/images/buttons/smiley.gif Ciao

Yes, I think it is ready to go now, lil - obviously we will need a bit of help from the sub-eds on this one - but I like the fact that the food sounds so good, it makes me hungry smiley - smiley

...and thank you for the lunch invite Vittorio - you never know! One day I might get to Rome smiley - laugh

I'd love Vittorio to write some more stuff for us. There is nothing the same as a Researcher who lives in an interesting place who can write about it!

smiley - grovel Please Vittorio?

I'm blushing. Really, I'm not joking. I'll write another entry whenever I'll find a place similar to the previous two. You know, Lanzababy,my aim is not to write about restaurants which do not satisfy my appetite for good food. There could be many reasons for this eg it could be the cook's night off, the supplies were not of the required quality, it could be the day before the the restaurant's weekly closure. It could also be the peak of the tourist season. I promise I'll submit another contribution, but I don't know when.smiley - biggrinsmiley - bubbly Ciao

Maybe you would consider a short article about Rome itself? There is a gap in the Guide!

Here are the Edited Guide Entries for Italy -

http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/C141

You can see how few there are, and how out of date some must be.

(I'll continue this discussion over on your Personal Space - so as not to hijack the Peer Review thread)

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.

If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.

Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Ok for Spanish! I understand enough to be able to tell the difference between a 'tortilla', a 'Plaza de toros' and 'vino tinto. Ciao smiley - smiley

Hi Vittorio - please will you help by removing the *second* entry that you submitted to Peer Review?

This one: A63064389

as it is not needed any more.

I can't do it for you myself - but you can safely delete it now - it is the 'continued' part.

Thanks! and good to see you by the way smiley - biggrin
