I was intrigued by the title, because I know what UML is (from tools like Rational Rose and TogetherJ) but I had never heard of Executable UML. Is it really the UML that is executed, or are these tools that are able to make the full round trip from modelling, to code generation and back via reverse engineering?
I think I saw another entry in PR (haven't got down to it yet). So maybe you describe class diagrams, sequence diagrams and use-case in more detail there?

I had skimmed over your entry too quickly the first time. I see now that you are not talking about the classic modelling tool that I'm familiar with.

P.S. I do agree with HELL - maybe you could add a short intro. so the lay person knows what the general topic is.

Um, just thought I'd point out that the author isn't exactly around to make changes. If we want to get this one into the guide we'll have to bring it up to scratch ourselves.
It's that or bin it.

I don't feel qualified to bring it up to scratch. I know classic UML and the tools. But not this "executable" form.
Before it's binned, I could do a little research I suppose.

I just saw that it's part of a whole set. Taken together (and read in order) it makes a lot more sense. The author seems to be very knowledgeable.
