Hello all youse. I've a request.
If anyone went to the Melbourne Cup this year, did they take photos? If so, could they digitalise them and send them onto my email address (on my Personal Space).
One will be selected for use on a Melbourne Cup Entry going into the EG, and of course you'd be appropriately credited.
Or if not the Melbourne Cup, the Cox Plate (especially the 1986 version!)
Cheers,
Matt

I was trying to think why I missed it and then realised it was the day after I arrived back home after four weeks in Europe. Jetlag was awful

Fine now It took just over a week to feel normal again. It reminded me once again that a stop-over really is essential
How long since you were in Oz? Lovely here btw as summer kicks in Temps in the high 20s/low 30s. Sun shining. Showers popping up most afternoons/evenings. Perfect weather
And I'm making plans for Christmas Day on the beach with prawns, oysters, bubbly, kites and good company.
Oh dear me... it's a hard life

Nigh on 7/8 years since I've been 'home'. Miss the warm Christmases at times, but then, looks like me might have snow for this year! Weehee!

I've not done Xmas on the beach until now. The closest I got was Xmas on the Reef a few years ago
Snow holds few attractions for me these days. The grass really is greener....
