Ooh yes, innocent but not ignorant, hey?
So Prime hit Rotorua? The woman told me they'd lost ratings big time when bought by the Aussies, but they had no choice, it was that or go under. But is it worth it? As Jim says, "Aussies turned our TV channel to cr*p"

Hi Della,
(I feel like we have yet to be *introduced*... )
So is Jim inferring that there was a time when our TV stations *weren't* cr*p

Hi, six 7s, I just asked Jim, and he said "That depends really" He's absorbed in what may be (but probably isn't) homework. But we were discussing Voyager vs Deep Space Nine this morning, and if you ask me, he remembers things quite rosily from a few years back - now he's 15 he's got as cynical as I am, but possibly in different ways...
Prime used to be good for treasures like Dr Who, Blakes 7, Ultraviolet and Meet the Ancestors. (woo hoo!)

Nostalgia ain't what it used to be
I am now living in a Prime free zone, and I can't say that I miss it, I have an instictive loathing for all commercial telly...

Wasn't it a Canadian company that brought TV3 when it was young?
I'm glad we're not just stuck with TV1 and TV2

DA ; Simply Vicky: Don't get pithy with me! Posted Jun 17, 2002
Well, yes, they bailed TV3 out second. First, however, were the Yanquis. TV3 is a little outpost of the North American continent. TV4 is owned by them. That explains a lot! I did not have TV anytime in the 1980s, not 'til 1991, actually - I can live without it (not happily now, though.) Jim is another matter...

Apparition, have you really been ? Are you better now? Were you in (gasp) hospital, or do you just mean that all your workmates were also ill?
I hope you're well now...
