Hi
Nice article -- perhaps it is a little short on information.
For example, maybe you could talk a little about Skinny's childhood/family life/education .. Did he ever marry? Father children etc.
I like the poem -- perhaps some selected excerpts from other poems could be included in the article -- and were any of his poems set to music?
Since he won awards, and was recognized for his talent, are there any quotes about him from other well known people?
BTW, I'm surprised no one else has commented -- I know we're a bunch of uncultured boobs on h2g2, but surely more of us could read a little poetry now and then

Thank you Taliesin. I was so excited when I saw someone had looked at my entry, but being isolated at the Bandwagon meant I couldn't respond. That was really hard!
I will certainly add to the entry. I have been in contact with Skinny Rowland's sister, Lorraine and she has given me some more to work with. It is not a lot but will certainly add some insight into the background of this amazing man.
I will also add excerpts of other poems.
Watch this space.

I have a soft spot for poets, especially Cowboy poets

It is done.
I have added more info on Skinny's life, as much as is available. Instead of excerpts of other poems, I have listed the poems which can be read on the Tatereye website and I have included some excerpts of some of his columns he wrote for two magazines.
I submitted the entry to Lorraine, Skinny's sister and she has read and approved the content.

This looks much better. There are just a couple of layout issues, which I will examine offline later. I'll offer some 'GML' suggestions for you so you may 'fix' these, if you like.
