Don't be scared my little one,
Though nimble fingers touch you,
brush across your face,
and quickly running footsteps,
make your heart begin to race,
Do not let the silent shadows,
Hiding in the corner,
Turn to red eyed clawing creeping fear,
They cannot touch you now or here,
Not while sleep is nowhere near,
With eyes as bright as mind is clear,
And i am watching you my dear,
But every day must have it's night,
And though i leave you scared of every demon known,
And darting eyes that search you now i've left you on your own,
Do not think that now because i do not stand beside you,
you have a cause for paniked fear,
I may be far but stars are near,
your eyes may close but theres are clear,
I watch you now through them my dear,
so sleep and let the stars above,
stop your fear you're safe my love.
