Tell me what you think of this
I know it may sound a little silly but I can assure you that I have participated in this activity before

I don't know how you found the time in between pushing buttons .
This is a totally ridiculous activity and sounds like great fun . And I agree it's a good entry. But I finished reading it wanting to know more. As I read I had this image of people rolled in velcro flinging themselves at a wall but to get the whole picture I need to know how high can you get? How long can you stay stuck? How big is the wall? Where can you do this and do you wear any sort of safety ropes? Why isn't this on TV (much more entertaining than watching football (speaking personally only))? Is it in the Olympics yet ? Please tell.

Actualy, this sort of thing has been on TV... in Japan. The first time I ever heard of this little game was when I saw clips of outrageous foreign television, and they showed a Japanese game show involving this. I'm not sure if they had a trampoline, and they always seemed to land hard and painfully against the wall.

I tried it once, but the velcro was old and had lost it's stack. The only thing more stupid than velcro jumping is velcro jumping and failing.
Is velcro a registered trademark? Will that affect this entry's chances of inclusion?

Velcro is a registered trademark that has since migrated its way into the English lexicon. It's one of those trade names that has become community property, as a result, just like kleenex, teflon, and motrin.

I tried it once with bad velcro and it wasn't very much fun
Its only fun with good quality velcro that actually allows one to stick to the wall. Yes, this is a pretty stupid activity when it doesn't work.

Seem to remember that like many particularly wacky activities (bungee jumping, jet boating, Zorbing) this originated in New Zealand. Is there something in the water over there?
(ps, I do know about bungee origins in Polynesian island initiation rituals and the Dangerous Sports club, but I'm talking about using an actual bungee cord rather than a vine or a climbing rope...)

motrin and advil are both brand names for ibuprofen, an aspirin-like non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication used to reduce pain and fevers.

Never heard of either of those brand names, but I know the stuff. In the UK and Ireland, the brands Nurofen and Brufen are the adult and child versions of the same stuff.
