Mr Returning Officer, when do you anticipate calling the candidates up to the virtual podium to declare the result? I know that the polls close early on Friday evening - will the result be announced shortly after that?

(Attempts to get Croz's attention)
And has the voter turnout been heavy, or has apathy reigned, even if people didn't actually vote for it by selecting None Of The Above?

I'm feeling quite evil at the moment so I'm going to start the count for round 1 at around 8pm tomorrow. Expect that count to last 5 minutes, and the wait for a speech from the loser of the round sometime later The next round of counting won't happen until the losing speech(es) for that round have been made. Repeat until we've got a candidate with 50% of the vote, then we can have all the speeches.
As for turnout, it's almost double that of what it was for the 1st election. It's just shy of 200. It's far exceeded my expectations.

It's a gmail email box so it's got a 2Gb+ ceiling. The 200+ emails (the one's that forgot to put their nickname and/or U number got replies) weigh in under 1Mb so far, so I'm a long way off having a full mailbox

That's alright then. I don't want you trying to lose me any votes!

I thought you weren't bothered about the election, Mina.

And although the count starts tomorrow, you're invited to get the party started

I'm not really here Posted Oct 7, 2005
I didn't say I wasn't bothered (unless I did somewhere and forgot), but I did say I don't have time for it.
At least if I win I'll still be around, unlike the last president who just cleared off nearly straight away.
Key: Complain about this post
