Even if you're facial as unattractive as possible, and the only really remarkable thing about you is your extreme height and lack of poundage (guilty on two counts, thanks to Marfan's syndrome), then you can at least feel sexy and desirable by being able to make members of the opposite sex laugh at what you say, and not at what you look like. I know everyone says that what they want most in a friend/partner/whatever is a sense of humour, and there's an inclination to say 'Hah! Cliche!) BUT IT'S REALLY TRUE!
