I was born in Doylestown, Pennsylvannia in the US. I lived somewhere in Yugoslavia til I was 6, and we moved back to the States. I now live in the Reading area of PA. It is quiet, the people are nice.

If I only wrote about places that *normal* people want to visit, I'd have written practically no Guide entries.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Guide entry about your village. If I ever find myself there, I'll try to avoid the children's parties in the pub. Which is exactly the sort of info a hitchhiker's guide ought to have.

Do you think that place entrys should have a special way of including Longitude and Latitide. This would help when/if the guide gets made into a hand held version with GPS.

Sounds like a good idea to me... also I wish we could include pictures of the town that we are writing about, some of the things around my town just look so good any words you say cannot describe them.

Lack of pictures is a fundamental problem with the Guide. Most of my own web pages are text only, but sometimes when you're writing a travelogue, you need pictures.

I wrote an entry on a part of Canada (Manicouagan, Quebec) which has a spectacular hydro power dam. I put in a picture of the dam, filling the horizon, with roads winding away in the distance to it. Too bad the picture went missing...

Yes indeedy... I may just provide links to the town's web pages... they provide much info for now... I would just want eventually to be able to put a picture of the tree where I had my first kiss with my girlfreind (hopefully wife someday)
