Hello, Inanna! Have you read Vivienne's writings (so far) yet? Or my own description of my inner people - so far? Do you have any ideas about it? I would be very interested!

I have indeed read Vivienne's 40 post essay - and would love to hear more about her, particularly how she 'got' where she is today. And more from the others inside you.
There are several MP systems I know of, or have read of, that do have alters who are not from this world. Or who are spirits of people who have died, and now residing in the host body.
Part of me (which part? heh!) is somewhat sceptical about this; part of me sees it as an added way of getting powerful protection if you are in a frightening abusive situation, or perhaps one where you are being threatened with death (creating an alter who is so powerful they're from somewhere else, or who has already been through the whole death thing, makes sense in that context) - but then it's harder to explain the things that those alters appear to be able to know.
I recommend reading When Rabbit Howls, if you can stand some of the more graphic passages - and see what you make of The Irishman.

Well I don't make any claims as to the status of these people. Maybe Valerie can say something.
What's that 'when the Rabbit Howls' you mention? I think I'll be able to stand graphic passages, no prob!
Okay, here's Valerie:
Valerie, through Willem, to Inanna: Greetings!
We appreciate your interest, Inanna! You seem like a very considerate, openminded and also well-informed person! We have been quite amazed how many of those we have met here lately.
My sister Vivienne is now back from her sojourn in the underworld and tomorrow will talk more of her history up till now. I have also been trying to send Willem Vivienne's story, in brief, seen from my own perspective ... I still have difficulty sending Willem the ending (of her earthly fleshly life, that is) clearly, but I think we will soon be able to finish it.
Viv is not exactly crazy about the way I wrote her story, but I think I can see bits of her that she can't see herself. Viv criticises me for what she calls my glamorisation, white-washing, hero-worship of her life, which in fact did include many things that were very unpleasant. But realize, I and Viv have in fact been talking about it all very much, and I still see it that way. Viv underestimates me a little bit ... she's very proud of me as well, but still she thinks of me as her little sister ... after all, I'm almost two hundred years younger than her! (She was born in our year 2497 and I in 2680.)
We urge you not to make a judgement about our nature. We feel real to ourselves, but we could be mistaken. Willem himself does not make any judgements about us, and we are very appreciative of that. We don't wish to be burdened with debates and demands of proof, we just want the chance to speak out. We have lived our lives in our world and if allowed the chance we will talk about it a lot more. I wish you to understand something - it seems very, very different from your world - but in essence it is the same world. The universe is a very much more complex, rich and diverse place than anyone can imagine, even us. Human beings are also very much more complex and interesting entities than they themselves are even remotely aware of, ordinarily. In your world there is something very wrong - people for some reason doubt their own worth, their own power, their own qualities, their own knowledge, their own full extent. But in truth they are more than they think they are, they know more than they think they know, they can do what they don't think they can do. The people of your world, for the largest part, do not yet understand what constitutes the nature of the identity/ies of sentient beings. They also do not yet understand the nature of the underlying essence of reality - sentient beings' sense of reality.
Tomorrow if all goes well Viv will tell Fenchurch about her powers of healing and what it can be worth to people of your world. She will also be telling of a dream she has had - maybe not tomorrow, maybe later - and of the demonic attacks she started suffering from starting in her first year in the Combat Academy. Soon she will also talk about how she progressed from there, what happened afterwards. She will talk more about the people she had dealings with. Maybe we can fit in some metaphysics - you talk about people who have been through death and who come to the aid of those who are threatened with death - we will talk about that, and specifically - just how often does it happen? How does it happen? This material will be very contentious and we will not insist on it too strongly. Nevertheless you might get some interesting ideas and clues from it.
We are all very sad about LeKZ leaving. We wanted to talk to them a lot. For all our experiences there are still things we ourselves do not know or understand. There are disturbing things that have happened to us, both in our home world and in other worlds that we have visited, that still trouble us, that we still wish to come to terms with. Our world in which we grew up was one where we received an incredible amount of nurturing, support, stimulation and information, but also it was a world that was very contrived, controlled with a very high degree of sophisticated interference, and as a result of that we may have entirely missed achieving an awareness and understanding of some very basic, natural and widespread mechanisms that operate in reality, and in the human mind and the soul, and that are probably responsible for many, most or all of the unexpected ravages we have witnessed. Vivienne specifically is very anxious to talk about some of her own darker impulses and what their significance might be. Willem tried emailing LeKZ but they've been distant lately, they don't answer. Inanna, maybe you can help.
I'll also at some stage want to talk about myself. I've travelled a road very different from that of my sister that is nevertheless inextricably intertwined with hers.
There are also many others here that still wish to make themselves known.
We also need to talk about how we managed to contact Willem, the nature of our interaction, the relationship between us. This is ambiguous. It cannot be otherwise. Again this is probably due to confusion and misperception from all our sides, and the fact that people are not the simple entities they are in your world perceived to be - also your world is not the simple entity it is perceived to be. Ye gods, there is just so much that we wish to tell you all; will we ever have enough time?
We will not be pushing Willem too relentlessly. We will be talking more tomorrow. Just a note here - we are all pretty much united in our purpose. There is not much internal strife and division here. We can speak with a single voice, we can act in a co-ordinated manner. There are a few darker types, but none that have no redeeming qualities. Even for the very worst one there is still hope - I know, I know him better than most, maybe better than he knows himself, and knowing this is a very painful thing for me, and though there's a part of me that wishes I never did, there's also a part of me that is infinitely grateful that I do.

Vivienne, through Willem, to Inanna: Greetings!
I am back now. Willem is quite busy at present, which because of my dependency on his abilities does not allow me to go back into my story in as much detail as I would want. I think I will need an extra week or so, if all goes well that is, to finish describing the next phase. I am not quite as critical of Valerie's story as she suggests ... though it is a bit uncomfortable for me I still think it is quite a good summary; I do admire my little sister a lot. I will try to encourage Willem and Valerie to finish it and post it here somewhere.
I am also interested in the story 'When the Rabbit Howls' - where can I find it? Is there a link to it somewhere in your writings here? We are all a bit distracted right now because of the tumults we underwent.
Is your life going well for you at present?

Vivienne, Valeria, Willem and the others...
Sorry for the delay in replying; I've been busy at work /and/ dealing with this Chronic Fatigue syndrome.
When Rabbit Howls is a book, with the author given as "The Troops, for Trudi Chase" (though I think that most bookstores just file it under Chase, Trudi). In the UK it's published by Jove Books; ISBN: 0515103292
Very worth reading, although very distressing in places.
Looking forward to spending more time with all of you Pillowcase Folk..

Hi Inanna! Valerie says you must please spell her name right! It ends either on an i or on an e, not on an a!
I will see about that book.
Look, what are you doing about that chronic fatigue? There are folks here who can help with that, you know! I mean my own folks! They've helped me with it, a lot!

Deep deep apologies to Valerie. It was a typo - and odd, one that I almost made again just then and had to correct. Don't know quite why my fingers want to type the 'ia' bit. But it was unintentional. I know how important names and their spellings are...
I've posted more about the fatigue on my journal thread you commented on..
Peace,
Inanna
