The thing is, this isn't Big Brother.
Big Borther set out to gain airtime, to do that it had to stick people into the house that it knew were going to make for good television, it knew that there was going to be backstabbing, smooching, and all that malarcky.
We're not after that, we just want to be really cruel and not let you post outside of a few selected forums

Is there no way that the participants could be isolated from all the rest of h2g2 so that they cannot see what the rest of us think of what is going on? That would be far more interesting

With h2g2 being an open site there is no way we can stop any of the contestants looking at the conversations being held in the 'surrounds'.
We will just have to trust you... and the vote will be by email rather then Vegi's way in the other article, so no-one, not even me until just before The Post comes out, will know who has been voted out!
As I think I already said, if you are involved in typically long fora elsewhere on h2g2, you will be allowed to drop a place-marker, so you don't have too many week's of backlog, but absolutely no psoeting of anything else except in the designated BB fora
If/when you are voted out, you will be allowed a little time to pack your bags and say goodbye! I will let you know how many postings you are allowed in the sad event of this happening.
Applications will close at 6pm British Summer Time on Wednesday 18th July.
Could I ask all participants to email me at [email protected] to confirm their willingness to take part.
