Jim I have had a few close calls, once I got a big bill when I moved here but it didn't have my name on it, but I did get it sorted out.
It was a very bad way that they treated you and with the so much stress and worry it caused you.
I am glad that has not ever happened to me.

Hi Jim
My bills have gone since I have changed companies and ways of paying. I am thinking also of changing my internet and telephone supplier as well.
I hope that your bills won't be too high.

Hi Jim
The council told me that the only way that I would get a water meter, was if I was living in a sheltered housing complex. They say I cannot' have it, incase a couple and a child want to move and they told me that if they did not want it, they could not get it removed. But with all this new houses being built all through out Thurrock soon, they will have to change their policy as there will be a strain on the water supplies.

hi kat

just keep your fingers crossed, drop an hint, that the meter can be taken out in the first year.
-
but if you get it in, you wont want to take it back out. jim xxx

Hi Jim
I did tell them that the water meter could be taken out after the first year but they did not believe me.
I have heard of reports that Thames Water are going to be putting in compulsory water meters and they cover right up to Upminister which is only 8 miles away.
