Maybe it doesn't belong *here*, but anyway... maybe you'll like it

Hmmm, a nice piece of work Yelbakk but I am unsure about whether it really belongs in the edited guide. Heaven forbid that doesn't mean I'm not sad about DNA's death or there shouldn't be an obituary for him in the edited guide mind.
One thing definitely occurs to me is that your link int eh table at the bottom would get removed by a subeditor as only links to already edited entries will suirvive this process. Maybe you shoudl include this oter entry in the main body Also, there seems to rather a lot of similarity in the text to that of DNA himself and even if this is a website started off by DNA himself does this remove the problem of copyright laws?
Not too sure about this really, I'll leave it and see what other scouts think
Its nice to see someone wants to put something like this in the edited guide mind you. Well played on trying

I shouldn't worry about copyright - I can't see this being a problem. But I could be wrong...
I'm afraid that I too don't see that this is suitable as is. A biography of DNA would be fine - an entry on the death of DNA would be fine (and could link to literary tributes), but just a literary tribute... nope, I fear that that is better suited for the Unedited Guide.
But don't jump to conlusions yet - let's see what someone else says...

But....
On a purely technical note - submissions to PR have to have the A-number in the title. Check out http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A475049 for my personal submission guidelines, which hopefully explains the "why" a little better...

I thought about that but in view of the subject material I thought it would be very harsh to kick it vote for a sin binning.

Erm, yes...
I, too, realised that PR was more likely than not the wrong place, so a couple of minutes after posting here I went to Ask The Community and put a little post there. I never really wanted the entry to go into the edited guide. So my appoligies for that. What I really wanted was a reaction.
Then again on Ask the Community I got no replies so far, and maybe being criticized on formal aspects *is* better than getting no response, at all.
What concerns me more is the Copyright aspect you brought in. However, I have no intention of "publishing" that sort of thing anywhere but here, and here people should know whom I am alluding to. But maybe I should mark direct quotes as such?

Given that you "never really meant for this to go into the Edited Guide", would you mind if we removed this thread from Peer Review now?
