Neighbours is by far the worst soap opera, and therefore the best. Everything happens between the 5 houses in a cul-de-sac called Ramsey Street, their world is so small it's incestuous.
Other than that there's The Archers as a nice alternative from TV Soaps.

Mentioning soaps and incest, I remember a few years ago, I went through the entire cast of EastEnders, and came to the conclusion that everyone was related to everyone else in some way or another. Might be worth doing it again.

Nothing was as appaling as Eldorado. It was brilliant. I have never seen anything as bad before or since.
It was a group of ex-pats living in Spain who had turgid little lives that were strangely compelling. By far the best was the baddy, Marcus or "Mar-coos" as his girlfriend liked to call him. There was a dysfunctional couple with a rougish son and a daughter in a wheel chair. And there was a stereo-typical english Spinster who was grumpy but a lovely lady underneath, jsut a bit lonely. Oh yes, and a token Spanish family! It was truly awful!!
I know my friends and I had a send off party for it - it involoved getting drunk and laughing at the final episode. But I can't remember one single story line. Ooh, how I miss it!
Now there's a fight worth fighting with the beeb. BRING BACK ELDORADO!

Worst of all time has got to be CROSSROADS - the original.
I don't know why they brought out a new version.
They did the best thing with the old one, burning it down.
