New York mini-meet, 18 May?

Post 1

Hi everyone,

I'm going to be visting New York for the first time very soon, and I wondered if there are any hootooers who would like to meet up in the city some time around the 18the May? I've met a couple of US researchers at London meets, and I was hoping to meet some more smiley - smiley

Is there anyone around who's free to meet up?

Hi purplejenny!

I work nights, so I'm not available for meet-ups during the week. smiley - sadface

Some of the people that used to show up for NYC meets (Batty, tacsatduck) moved out of state! How mean is that? smiley - winkeye

I just realized I'm assuming here ... you meant the City, didn't you? If you're visiting Buffalo, I can't really help you! smiley - winkeye

Much as I'd enjoy another hootoo meet-up, most of us live way to far away from NY to just pop in for a meet-up. smiley - erm

It's not like you wouldn't have a place to stay! smiley - winkeye

Ah well, I'll keep an eye on this thread in case anyone else happens to be free. I'm going to be staying with a couple of my friends from the UK who moved over there about 3 months ago, but it would have been nice to see some of you lot too, if that were possible.
