Theory, I read your bus piece and have something to add. At my schools, there is a practice of separating the grades. The youngest at the front, the oldest at the back. There was also a bit of an initiation for young ones to gain the privilage of sitting in the back. That went something like fighting your way to the back and touching the light over the back exit door.
Read my stories on my page (there are two but on separate pages) and tell me what you think.

gee, and up until now i had considered myself lucky to have been within walking distance from school before i got my driver's liscence
or maybe i still was.
there is something terribly wrong with the structure of the previous statement.
so.... i'm giving up now and going back to 'lurk mode'

What is this "Lurker Alert" of which I have heard so little but witnessed so often?

Try tying youself to the chair in an upright position, that way, peole think you're sinning up. Then, just before you go to sleep, open an old document and lay a dictionary on your lap. People will think you're looking for just the right words.

sorry to hear that, theory, fridays are okay... but saturdays and sundays are the best!
(because all of the office people are off and i get the whole day to myself to sleep at my desk or play at h2g2... sometimes for overtime and sometimes for *doubletime* )
