The fingernail is reluctant to leave me - unlike the skin on the pad of my finger which is all flakey and disgusting. Just like the rest of me

Just spent today looking for, and failing to find, some CD storage devices...got caught up in looking in the kitchen equipment areas of a couple of department stores (always a dangerous place for me, I love kitchen gadgets and equipment!) but managed to be very good and hardly spent anything at all.

Then I went to the fine wines department and undid all my good work by buying an unfeasibly expensive bottle of wine!

Half term holiday with The Gruesome Twosome. Off to Sheffield to my parents' to collect the power tools my dad has been buying me all year

I may get a trip to The Smoke to visit a friend and her relatively new baby, probably overnight - but I'm not sure, because I'm only over for a week.

And I'm trying to arrange a date with my internet toyboy...

My brother would appreciate it, but he's in Australia. My dad would, but he's not allowed to drink any more...or eat the kind of food you'd need to serve it with...
