Thanks for that. I haven't mentioned anything about their 'no encores' stance in live shows, now I come to think about it.

Thinking of their live shows. What about mentioning that Gedge always seemed to wear shorts on stage. I don't know if that was a long term trade mark, but he was always in them when I went to their gigs around 1989-1990.

David Gedge as a sex symbol? I suppose he wasn't bad looking (in a gruff kind of way) but did those shorts really help? Trainers, shorts and a long-sleeved t-shirt - not the archetypal vision of lovliness, is it? And as for his little bum wiggles during Kennedy ....

Re Posting 19... Yesterday I put this entry on Bossel's ever growing list of shortlisted entries, but I've got that feeling down my neck I won't get the chance to recommend it, nor will it reach the bottom smiley - winkeye

Coolio! And thanks very much to all who made suggestions. (Note to h2g2 Eds: if you're looking for another SubEd look no further than Zaphod - the two-headed one does a fine job.)

I read about you wanting to become a sub-ed in the Weddoes thread - you have to apply at their official page, and there's probably a waiting list. smiley - sadface

Nonethelesss, it's a good thing to wait for smiley - biggrin

Actually the bit about becoming a SubEd was for Zaphod (Usomethingorother) who has done stirling work helping me to proofread the Wedding Present entry.
