The researcher for this entry (scholarman) never activated his personal space (U176910) but his lone contribution to the Guide on 18 May, 2001 about the Fort Kent Blockhouse is simply brilliant!

I agree. I think with a little subediting ...
Nevermind, I'm going back to work.

Hopefully the author will return to h2g2 when he learns that his first entry has entered the system for eventual inclusion into the Edited Guide.
Anyway, if he does come back and see this...

Thank you kindly.
I'd managed to forget I'd ever written this entry. I'm very glad it's done well, and I'll see if I can't put a thing or two more in, if people liked that one.
(Thanks, Jimi!)

Hey!
Welcome back!
If you edit your personal space, I'm sure the Assistant Community Editors (ACEs) will be happy to welcome you properly to the site and give you links and information to get more out of your h2g2 experience.
In the meantime, do keep writing!

After all, all he did was string together a lot of old, well-known quotations. -- H. L. Mencken, on Shakespeare

Hey Two-Bit - somehow you managed to get all three of the entries I recommended for inclusion so good luck with them.
The last paragraph contains a slight niggle in the first sentence 'Near where the Blockhouse lies is a hill that.' I suppose somebody ought to complete that thought?
Otherwise, nice job on the Subbing.

Well, that was sloppy. I was dividing one sentence into two. In the original, the hill lead somewhere, but I don't think that hills can lead to places. Generally, paths do that.
