Short and to the point, about a jazz club that I enjoy.

I like what you have so far, Mike. I find myself wondering why you like the place so much, though.
Perhaps you could list a few bands that play there? Does the club ever have open mike music or open mike poetry sessions? If you went there alone, would you discover friends by the end of the night? Or is it best to go with some pals?
I think you could perhaps rename the entry also. The subject of 'Jazz in New York' is rather a broad one. It should perhaps cover jazz radio, symphonies that play jazz programs, jazz on Broadway, and so forth. Your entry is really about a single venue. So how about 'Smalls - A New York Jazz Club' or something along those lines.

I second MG for all of the above except wondering why you like the place,
It sounds like a great little place. I'm going there next time I'm in new york.
The entry has served it's purpose.

I like
I agree with the above posters though - the title does suggest a much broader entry, the name of the club would be better
Also a bit more on the bands that play there, if there's a dance floor and so on

Think this is to the WW, Mike seems like a one timer. No personal space, not anything but this entry.

Hi All, we need someone from NYC or someone that knows the place to help us fill in some questions that arose in previous posts.
The author of the entry seems to be AWOL, so anyone who wants to take over the writing of this entry is welcome.

Sorry all. I didn't mean to disappear. I was just without a computer for some time. I've just been finding my way around the site again and didn't realize that this conversation had been going on. I will try to update the entry soon. Also, anyone else who has been to this place is welcome to contribute. It is an excellent little haunt.

Fine! I've been to NYC last year but as Jazz isn't really my kind of thing I can't contribute anything useful there. However, it's great to see you back

Great to see you back
You can take this off the flea market then... and when ready, create a Peer Review Thread

I'd like to recommend Back to Entry
This entry is, at 135 words, very short, has little content to rescue and what there is might be out-of-date (ie is it still smokey after New York's smoking ban?). It could even vaguely be potentially considered to be advertising anyway, almost.
I would love it if Mikeleonard returned and expanded the article, including information about bands, open mic nights, history of the club etc. though. An intriguing article that doesn't have a long enough run-up to let it get off the ground.
