McKay The Disorganised

Once all the points listed above are sorted this looks OK to me.

I seem to recall that polar bear livers contain so much iron they are poisonous to humans.

'just need to sort out the absorbtion of heat and the kg thing'.

Well, 1kg = 2.2lb.

So 1000 -1500lb > 454.5 - 682 kg.

I would probably say 455-680kg

thankyou for your help i think i've done it but i'm not confident about maths so it would be great if someone could check to see if i'm wrong or have lost the plot. Have also upgraded everything now so it should be ready?

Ref the maths...

There's no point in giving such precision to the kilogram masses.

For the male, call it 227kg-500kg.(probably even call it 230kg-500kg).

For the female, call it 160-270kg.

'...only occasionally reaching 700 pounds(317.8kg)'. > 320kg.

smiley - yikes 'Each baby polar bear starts off weighing only a pound (0.5 grammes)' > 0.5kg!!

Ref. 'Keeping warm', don't forget the black skin for absorbing radiation. (This is not controversial like the hoolow hair.

Hi Ho there Opti!

I do love what I'm seeing here. You are treating the subject very well, in breadth and depth of detail.

A couple of things that may improve it still further are:

[Rivalling the kodiak bear, the polar bear is the largest four-pawed carnivore to walk the Earth and ...]

You say it 'rivals' the Kodiak (Polar and Kodiak, are both names I believe. Check guidelines on capitalization to be certain), and that it 'is the largest...'.

If, as I believe, the Kodiaks are do come larger than the largest Polar bears, you might change this to read ...
Rivalling the kodiak bear, the polar bear is [among] the largest four-pawed carnivore to walk the Earth [in recent history], and ..

Certainly there have been more monstrous bruins.

My only other suggestion is that Sub-subheaders, under THREATS, should be of a smaller size than the major subheader, Threat.

Perhaps just capitalizing and bolding body text will help?
You could also go Italic and use them to start the paragraph, perhaps followed by a hyphen.

Great stuff, so far. It does look nearly there.

Thankyou for your posting and compliments smiley - smiley

Just a bit confused over these things.

1) Capitalising

Just going by what people say regards capitals and most suggest polar bear is lower case so kodiak would be too right? although yes I'd usually put it in capitals which is what I started off with.

2) Size

smiley - sorry I do not know how to make the sub-headings smaller.

3) confusion
And as I'm continuously learning Guide Ml I don't understand your comment ...'Perhaps just capitalizing and bolding body text will help?'

4) more confusion
I also feel that I do not need to Italicise or start making things to complicated for myself unless it actually really is necessary.

Thankyou again for your posting and I'll be sure to check up on bear sizes smiley - smiley

Oh, for smaller sub-subheaders, just treat it like text and make it capitals, bold, and/or italic.
'' for bold, '' for italic, and end the line with '' instead of ''. No is needed at the beginning.

I'd suggest bold, ULC (upper-lower case). It's all in the GuideML thingy.

Thankyou for your help I certainly need it being a learner but I see myself as quick to learn and will apply your method smiley - smiley

Could you also tell me an easy way to learn excel as I am better with exercises than reading with no exercises.

We can create a thread on your PS where we can discuss MS Excel, if you like. I can help with things like 'Conditional Formatting', Concatenation, Add-ins like the 'Analysis Packs': 'Conditional Sums', tricky time formulas using functions like NetWorkDays, some VB and stuff.

I can also show you some pretty neat charting techniques, like gas gauges, multi-use charts, automated bar colorings, target/goal line automation, etc.

It's a fun and powerful application. I doubt if anybody knows it all, including the development team members. I've got a neat and unique formula for creating a 'ratio' (like: 1:5, 2:7, 3:17, 611:4562, etc), something that Excel has not added yet.

There is even one woman who is known for doing all her creative graphics in Excel using auto shapes and fills!?!? She recreates photos pretty well, and says that it is easier to use than many true graphics packages. Go figure!

Ah, Subheader is what I thought you were already using!?

Great! Anything that is appears smaller than the main heads is just fine, I'm sure!!

Congrats on learning new stuff. It's what life is all about, after all.
