What if the moon also rotated, apart from seeing the 'dark side' would we notice anything else?
What if.....?

The moon does rotate! The 'Dark side' is the black bit which makes up the less noticed part of the crescent, half, or gibbous moon.

Apart from the viewing of the dark side, nothing much would happen. Any animals dependant on the moon's cycle would notice that the sun's light still reflects from it at the same times for crescent, full, etc, thereby letting them carry on as normal. It could upset Patrick Moore though..
