What if Blakes Seven hadn't been cancelled?

Well what if... would it finally have gotten big budgets and been real competiton for Star Trek. Would hitchhikers have gotten a proper length TV serialisation.... Would Doctor Whoo still be on..... There's a pattern here!

Ah, but then, what is the best final episode to a TV series ever (TM) would have just become, rather a good cliffhanger with no doubt some poorly explained, badly mangled get out clause at the beginning of season five. And, with Blake dead it would be even sillier calling it Blake's Seven. They would have to call it Mad Avon and his grumpy mates, or something.

You obviously haven't red the follow on book and listened to the follow on Radio Drama! And you're right they did in a way ruin a brilliant end. But they also give you a taste for more more more
What if Blakes Seven were repeated/remade?

I thought this was brilliant and I didn't start watching the original series until blake wasn't around and there wasn't seven of them!
Since then I've watched all of them on video, Fantastic!
