The 1970s rugby team would not have flourished and we wouldn't have to, put up with all the 'nation of rugby lovers' garbage churned out by the press!!

Then he probably would have played football for Germany and they would have won the world cup in '66.
Then we could have avoided all that hype about 'great' English football teams.

He was, of course, a decent footy player and had trials with Cardiff City before deciding on egg-chasing.

Plus people over here would be able to pronounce my RL name right, the closest I've had is GarElf which I considered rather appropriate considering my diminutive stature.

Dunno about Lord Gareth, but certainly if Cliff Morgan had been German, I'd have been born over there. Great Granny Weatherwax had to go & live with her Aunty when I was due just to make sure that I'd qualify to play for Wales. I sure mucked up that little idea!! and then five years later, my brother was born early in Birmingham!!!!
