Hello everyone!

Isn't possible to make a new, more funny and better researched entry here? I don't think that the entry is particulary
funny and well-researched.

Only about two sentences about a whole country is IMHO not enough.

Oh, by the way, Hitler was born in Braunau, that is in AUSTRIA, not in Germany. That's what I mean by badly researched...

Why not make jokes about the German attitude to always know everything better instead of writing bad ones about Hitler and
wars. Why not say something funny about German cars and German beer??? By the way, Germany hasn't taken part in wars
for more than 50 years... (US: Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Grenada...) (UK: Suez, Falklands, Iraq...). So why still try to make jokes
about Germany and wars when it simply is no longer true.

Sense of humour: I don't think that it's a question of humour if you're joking about Hitler and the Nazi time. Germans simply
don't wan't to joke about Hitler and the Nazi era, because it's such a disatrous and unbelieveable "spot" in history that you
need to analyze it and ask why something so terrible could happen in the center of Europe instead of joking about it.

And, by the way, there are so many other German habits and things you can joke about, you simply don't NEED the war to
make fun of. Of course one should mention Hitler and the WWII in an article about the Germans, that's part of history. But
not in a way as it is done here.

That is why I ask everyone to write parts of a new, really funny, cool and hot article about Germany and post it here! So
maybe we'll get something better!

I do totally agree with what is written above.

Having Lived in Germany for a cosiderable part of my adult life as an 'Auslander' I fail to see the relevance of the published article.

I am in a unique position in that although I am a foreigner here I am living in what is lovengly called "Little Britain" to wit the largest military camp in Europe. Not only do I see the British attitude to the Germans, but the Dutch, Belgique, French and American. I can honestly say that I am not proud of what I see. Germany is a great country full of varied cultures, lanscapes and the Germans all consuming passion for their beer and food.

If an article is to be written on this country, the past needs to be forgotten. Such thought now only really occupy the minds of the older members of society, or the paraniod. Mention should be given to the part in Europe which Germany holds, the people, the culture etc. Not some two paragraph drivel based on total innacuracies.
