Oh please, oh please! I was soooo hoping to find out that there were others at least somewhat closer! I'm from Seattle, WA, if it makes any difference.

Thanks! Do you guys have a central thread? Or shall I just barge in anywhere? Or should I sit here and twiddle my thumbs and see what happens?

Nah, no central thread, we aren't that organized. Sometimes when someone is planning something local -- like a meetup or something -- people will start a thread on this page, so it's worth subscribing to the page as a whole so you'll get any new threads that pop up. More than anything, it's a useful page for finding hootooers near you -- I'll often follow the links over to people's personal spaces and leave a message.

Thank bob you haven't succumbed to the organization flu! Thanks for the info. I'll keep my eyes open for that meet. I'd always be willing to host or help plan something out here, if it helps.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
