This is my posting from a few months ago. I've been debating on whether I should put it up for peer review. I've been told it is quite humourous by many. Yes, I am American but please don't hold it against me. Thank you!

I'm not going to repeat the discussion from the (ex-Workshop, now Fleat Market) thread http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F74125?thread=108079 Have you consulted the http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/Writing-Guidelines?

The point regarding the Guidelines is: would the inhabitants of Chernobyl thank you for the advice given in the entry?

Seems to me that there is actual facts on this subject that would make a good edited entry... and quality of the humor not withstanding, this shouldn't be an edited entry....

Yes I will do what you told me to and I said I would do earlier, sorry for the trouble thanks for your time. The edited version will be up in about two weeks or so, thanks Bossel.

Hmm...
Paradox: The entries title is 'how to survive a global nuke fall-out'. The entries text deals with 'Coping with the inevitable death by keeping up humour'
This entry definetly does NOT explain how to survive.
Some parts can be considered funny (not by me though) and there is a giggle-factor in there. But edited guide? I don't know.
Sincerely,
HELL

But Edited Guide?
How about no.
At least not as it's written. There *are* ways to survive nuclear fallout and this entry doesn't do its topic justice.
An entry on this subject can still have plenty of black humour, but it needs to have at least a framework of fact.
Do you want to give it another go?

Er, like I said, anyone interested in resurrecting this?

Dr Hell Posted Nov 30, 2001
Er... I would but, there's currently a Uni-Project on nuclear warfare going on, so chances are that the researchers over there already took this topic over.
Bye,
(I would consider removing this entry from the FM as well.)
