Wood Lane station is really easy to see. It can only be seen from the eastbound central line trains. As you leave White City and enter the first underground tunnel,face the direction of travel and look out of the windows on your left.You can then see the platform and exit stairs of Wood Lane station.As you leave Wood Lane, the train makes a very brief appearance aboveground before going underground again and not emerging aboveground until Stratford.

Here's a weird thing. Because of the tunnel arrangements around Wood Lane, the trains at White City, just up the road, end up on the wrong platforms. On LU track the trains travel on the left, but at Wood Lane trains arrive on the right hand platform. There is a bridge between Wood Lane and East Acton where the lines cross back over.
