This was a cute entry.

I'd like to see a bit more info however, especially any good restaurants or pubs? (Those friendly people and their nice dogs must eat somewhere! smiley - winkeye)

Just flesh it out a bit with some details and I think you'll be happier with the results. smiley - smiley

Thanks for the review. There is only one pub in Oreston and I mention it in the entry. There are no restaurants. I researched pretty thoroughly for any juicy stuff to put in and put in what I could find. Oreston isn't the birthplace of any pop stars or similar but that shouldn't preclude it from being written up, in my opinion.

No restaurants? Only one pub? How small is this town?

Seriously, I think an idea of population size would be a good thing to add on to the entry. Given the above, I'm guessing that it's under 10,000 (and quite likely under 2,000 - unless British restaurant/pub demographics are drastically different from American ones). But it would be nice to know.

Mikey - it's a village, population < 1000 at a guess but I'll see if I can find some official figures and slot them in.

Wow! That *is* small. I was imagining it to be slightly larger than this... smiley - blush

Perhaps a little something to recognize this fact and it'll be ready to roll. smiley - smiley

Mikey - best I can do is an estimate as the only official figures I can find cover a larger area (we call them 'wards', defined for purposes of elections) of which Oreston is a part. The estimate is now in the entry.smiley - batSpitfire

Ask your council for the statistics for the parish. For boston lincolnshire, i got three different figures depending on if i asked for the parish, the town, or the borough.
