Blimey Smudger, that sounded like a big job!
.
Yep getting the sons involved in it was a good idea as will have to do DIY eventually if they buy or get their own places in end.
It is nice to have a reasonably high fence for privacy, and keep your neignbours weeds at bay by sound of it, lol!

Hi SS, Its made a great difference to our back garden now, we have a lot more privacy now
Yea! the lads were well proud of their work, they did well really, as their late Dad was not a handy man about the house. Thanks for your post, I appreciate that

Hi, Smudger,
I bet my list is longer than your list As usual you struck a chord. I have a huge list, none of which PHM is up to doing, but will be let me get someone in<huh Not on your life! So the jobs are just sitting there glaring me in the face, and not being done.
I don't suppose your lads would like a trip 'darn sarf' would they? I have two lads of my own, one of which is a dab hand at DIY but neither of them seem to get time, both working long hours.
Oh, well one day, I will crack the whip and ignore his arguments and get someone in to do it all before I am too to care
Thanks for writing, it is nice to know I am not alone

Hi WS, The lads are still under training, as they didn't do any DIY until Mk2 and I got together.
As for the list, I am starting to look for things to do, as once I have wood stained the shed and summer house there is nothing for me left to do? No doubt something will come up, as I want to keep mobile as long as I can before my back gets worse
