I find that having no mention of the popular British children's TV program 'Rainbow' rather disconcerting. Surely there is room for Zippy, Bungle and George in your entry?

I always liked George best. Did you ever notice how when they went to bed they put on pyjamas having been naked all day? That happens on Bananas in Pyjamas now I think, but that's not as good

Who the f--k are Bungle, Zippy and George. Having never been a child in Britain ( along with more than five billion other users of this guide) please explain what relevance such a stupid topic could have for anyone (apart from immature Brits), and why it should even be mentioned.

Surely the whole point of this guide is to serve everyone on the planet. there are 60 million brits who know what this subject is about, which i figure is actually quite a lot of people.
Where is the sense in having a guide that has entries that affect everyone in the world - i mean it would be boring if microsoft was the only entry.

Hey, no, you've given me a great idea! Scrap h2g2. Lets rename it:
The Hitch Hiker's Guide to Microsoft Products
By Bill Gates
It's a million to one shot, but it just might work.
Whoops, wrong author.

For the un-English and uninitiated. Bungle, Zippy and George and the stars of 'Rainbow', a kids TV programme that was at its best about 14 years ago. Bungle is a bear, George is a pink hippo and Zippy is a yellow-brown colored creature with a big mouth that got zipped up when he talked too much.
BTW. Anyone else think Ike the baby in South Park is a relative of Zippy
