The Chase is ON... or is it?
Last week I invited you all to try the Post Paper Chase, with the carrot on the end of the stick being an h2g2 Tshirt!
Did I make it too hard for you all? I only had one (incorrect) entry, and nobody has sent in even a whisper that they may be trying it out. If you genuinly became stuck anywhere, then please email me and I will try to make things a little easier. There is no fun being a hare if no-one is following you!
After all, not only will you have fun trying to crack the clues, you may well find an article that you haven't read before.
All the clues lead to an item which has appeared in The Post since its inception. They may, or may not, have a mention in the handy Back Issues pages, but crack the clue and that should give you an idea of where to start looking.
To win you need to add the final digit of each article (hopefully after reading it first) and send the sum total to shazzPRME, being careful to mark the subject 'Post Paper Chase', or it may be overlooked! There are 12 clues in all, so you need to find 12 numbers... the answer is certainly more than 20!
It should be obvious where to find each clue, although the tracks were covered better towards the end of the chase, as in you won't find 'The Post Paper Chase' in big letters at the top of the forum. As most of these articles have been re-activated since 'Rupert', however, it shouldn't take you long to track down the next clue.
The theme this week is 'sport'.
