That would be Heimlich I think... but it was hours ago, so if he really needs the Heimlicg manouver, then I would have to embrace a stiff corpse from behind.... I rather hope it was just some form of exclamation...
Hmmmmm

That was very informatinve. Two things to note 1) a link to http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A574779 and 2) Sometimes a host will put special things into an apple (such as a coin or a ring) and who ever gets that apple wins a prize.

I did of course make up the name stalking the floaters pretty much on the spot - no idea if it is a tactic with a more publicly known name or not, but I was trying to be if not accurate, then at least definitively inaccurate smiley - winkeye, and I had to call it something.

YOU know, I never got round to naming any of mine, due to the feeling that they were all just different parts of me instead of like, separate entitites. This feeling was probably re-inforced by the fact that I am a south-paw, so hardly any one else can play my guitars properly..

Feisor - -0- Generix I made it back - sortof ...

I went to a play a few weeks ago and was watching a young aboriginal girl play guitar left handed - I couldn't quite work out why, but it looked strange to me, then my friend (a musician) pointed out that she was actually holding the guitar upside down (that is it was a right-handed guitar which she was playing left-handed) and so all her chords were upside down.

After the play I approached her and asked her about her strange technique - she told me that when she was little she had no formal lessons but had copied her older brothers who were all right-handed.
At least she doesn't have to use a special left-handed guitar smiley - biggrin

Im fairly sure jimi hendrix played a right handed guitar upside down. I've always found it a bit of a pain in the a** though, as I had to relearn a huge number of chords to play my friends guitars.

It is quite good fun confounding people by switching from a left handed to a right handed guitar, and still carry a tune smiley - smiley
