Lucky man... you are...
Hmm... I was thinking If I was to be frozen... which I could be as I have a $250,000 life insurance policy on me, I still wouldent... I dont know if I could survive with no one I know alive... it would be hard enough without my girlfriend or family!!! Oh well... I would want to die, and have my money go to a good cause... School for my kids, paying a little back to my parents... etc...

just imagine being woken up in a few hundred years time: all the different technonolgy, different words, different meanings for existing words, different people, different taboos and customs. it would be awful!

It is horrible to think about. Even the fact that the human body will probably undergo some microlution (is that the right word?) such as maybe sex changing capabilities... or changes in the organs...

If the guy then broke the guarantee what would you do? Coropsicles probably wouldn´t have a right to legal help.

I mean more along the lines of I would have to have a guarentee that the system worked... and I could be unfrozen, I would figure that if they didnt bring me back, they would be sued by the company chosen to own my body...

Indeed it is... I think that the process of suspended animation is largely based on trust, cause you dont know if the computers or humans are going to work, and you dont know what is going to happen with the world (war, famine, poverty, POWER OUTAGES!)

what would be good, is to be able to somehow judge when to wake up, though i don't know quite how you'd do that!

I just wish time travel existed so I could go forward and see what it was like in the world after I die and see what happens to the human race... I would probably be happy with only 1-2000 years into the future...
