i have had some pretty horrible experiences at the hands of the media - one of the worst would be when a reporter was completely taken in by the other side of the story and never even bothered to check their facts and as a result what had been a peaceful successful protest was protrayed as violent and destructive when it was not - when we rang the reporter to complain he fobbed us off - it was four years ago and i'm still mad
but then i'm sure anyone involved with the protest movement, especially the anti-capitalism movement, would have similar experiences
